Kreuzlingen, located on the south-western shore of Lake Constance, is due to its vicinity to the city of Constance an important centre of commerce in the area around Lake Constance for Switzerland and Germany. Kreuzlingen is equally important to the Eastern part of Switzerland and for the South-West of the Federal Republic of Germany.
