Born in 1968 in Munich/Germany. Studies of physics at the Technical University of Munich, scholarship for talented students of the State of Bavaria, graduated as Dipl-Phys. (physicist) in 1995. Particular focus on physical chemistry (molecular physics), medical technology, analytics, optical and spectroscopic methods, and semiconductor physics. Accessory course of business studies at the Fernuniversität Hagen, graduated as Dipl.-Wirt. Phys. (business economist in connection with physics) in 1999.

From 1996 until 1997 employment as a system and hardware developer (R&D) in a chemical industry company, development of analytical systems. From 1998 until 2000 employment as an engineer in a semiconductor production company, particularly development and production engineering in the field of microcontrollers for automotive applications.

In the field of Intellectual Property employment in the office Herrmann-Trentepohl & Partners (later Grosse Bockhorni Schumacher), furthermore self-employed in Munich, in 2006 joining the office LangRaible as partner. Experience in patent, utility model, design and trademark matters regarding proceedings before offices as well as before courts. Authorization to represent before the German, Swiss, and European Patent Office, at the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OAMI; trademarks, designs), at the German Federal Patent Court, and the Federal Court of Justice (Nullity Actions).

The expertise in IP matters is based on a combination of high technical qualification including years of practical experience in different technical fields and the knowledge and experience in patent and trademark proceedings.

Member of national and international societies and associations (German Physical Society DPG, VPP, FICPI).
