Chile (country code: CL) became the 140th PCT Contracting State on 2 March 2009. The PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) will enter into force for that State on 2 June 2009. Thus, from June 6, 2009 on protection for 140 states can be obtained by one single application through an international application according to PCT.
