Croatia and Norway - New Member States of the European Patent Convention

Croatia and Norway recently became member states of the European Patent Convention (EPC). With the accession of the two countries, the EPC now counts 34 member states, including all the member states of the European Union.

Both countries acceded to the revised version of the EPC (EPC 2000), which entered into force on December 13, 2007. The EPC entered into force in Croatia and Norway on January 1, 2008.
