Born in 1968 in Horb am Neckar - Germany. Studies of Electrical and Information Technology Engineering at the Technical University in Munich. Afterwards studies of jurisprudence focusing on intellectual property, copyright law and antitrust law at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. During his studies employment in companies of the electronic, automotive and engineering industry, at the Munich District Court, at the European Patent Office and the Public Prosecutor's Department (economic crime).

After finishing the legal training, lawyer for intellectual property, copyright law, and antitrust law.

Special interest and qualifications in infringement proceedings as well as out-of-court settlements, particularly licenses, strategies, and rating of intellectual property rights.

Author of scientific papers in the area of industrial property protection regarding the assessment of the inventive step by way of interpreting the evidence given by the fuzzy-logic (Max-Planck-Institute for Intellectual Property) and with respect to the protection of trust in case of changes in intellectual property and copyright law (European Patent Office 1998).

Admitted before all German Regional Courts and Higher Regional Courts as well as Federal Court of Justice (Nullity Actions), Swiss courts, the German, Swiss, and European Patent Office as well as the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Community trademarks and designs). Member of the Munich Bar Association, the Munich lawyer association, LES, VPP, GRUR, and VDE.
